Overview

A 25,000 SF community center with gym, kitchen, meeting rooms, daycare, cultural education space, and tribal design details.

Gaffney Construction completed this unique community center in January of 2015.

Constructed of CMU block, wood, and steel, the building incorporates concepts tied to the tribe’s traditions and history, including CMU block designed to resemble native basket weaving patterns and polished concrete made to mimic the flow of the Stillaguamish River.

Usable spaces include a gymnasium, kitchen, meeting rooms, offices, daycare with outdoor playground, cultural education space, and elder involvement areas.
