Overview
Gaffney Construction developed the first phase of Stillaguamish Village in Arlington for the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians. The work combined housing and community buildings with roads, utilities and shared outdoor spaces within the broader 80-acre village site.
Phase I included elder townhomes and cottages, single-family residences, a canoe carving workshop, a wellness and massage clinic, and a pavilion. Site work included roads, parks, trails and a deer meadow.
The canoe workshop provides space for carving, canoe building and teaching these practices to younger generations.
